Wild food foraging - Ep 2

A wild pantry in your backyard

The best place to forage is your own garden, as that is where you know what is growing and how it is managed. In your garden, you will be able to take your time to learn about plants, how to identify them and expand your knowledge. Following from that you explore your neighbourhood where you will spot trees with overhanging fruits. Learn patterns and start mapping. There are food and medicine plants everywhere.

This week I will share the second episode in a series of videos produced with the amazing folks at Wolktolk, follow them to see this and more easy empowering steps towards a sustainable future.

WOLKTOLK is a network that promotes lifestyles that better human wellbeing by appreciating and helping regenerate nature.

Let’s reshape our understanding of natural resources around us, as good relationships at home are essential to our mental and physical wellbeing. Tight-knit ecological and social communities are the main elements for a fruitful and resilient future for all.

In this first video, we will look at a dandelion, how to tell it apart from flatweed but also mulberries and how to make a mulberry paste with it.

Enjoy!
