Every plant has a story

I am offering monoprints (one of a kind artworks) made from medicinal and edible plants found on my foraging walks around Sydney.
Prints are produced in one of Sydney's last remaining artisanal presses, which I co-run, the Big Fag Press.

Each botanical will be presented with a detailed report indicating:

  • historical data related to the species

  • cultural uses of the species by either Aboriginal Australians, early colonist or other migrant communities

  • a nutritional report of the plant (if available)

  • high-resolution images of the plant

I have many more plants in stock if you cannot see the plant you like in the list below get in contact.
In addition, I can produce prints to order so if you have a particular plant that you would like to celebrate with a monoprint on the wall just get in contact and I can source, print, package and post it to you, at no extra costs.

$55 ea, unframed.
All artworks are approximately 15cm wide and 22cm long, printed on acid-free archival paper.

The artworks are stabilized and fixed but might change in time as the sap of the plant forms part of the print.

Create a display of beautiful botanical prints on your home, from the plants living outside in the garden.
